I've had many experiences of being not really interested in a conversation and I’m gonna tell you about one of them.It happened a few days ago.

I have two very good friends and we used to meet up on the weekends for a coffee or a meal all the time.But one of them got married 4 years ago and the other one did the same last year.They moved into a new place after that and now we live far apart,so we can’t meet as often as before.During the national holiday,we finally had the chance to hang out.

We went to a restaurant in the Chengyang District in Qingdao,which is a long way away from my place.I thought the distance was nothing,because I was really looking forward to seeing my friends again and I was filled with excitement.However,when we finally sat down and started talking,all they could talk about was their kids,their husbands and in-laws.The two of them seemed to be having a great time chatting while I just sat there nodding along to what they were saying without really paying attention.

　I was so bored with the conversation,because unlike them,I’m not married.I don’t have the same kind of problems as they do.Our lives have become so different and I feel a bit sad thinking about how we will probably grow apart over time.
