整好,本季雅思新题Part2里就有一个跟健康相关的题卡,an article on health you read on magazine.

Stress eating 压力暴食,eating junk food吃垃圾食品,excessive TV watching 看电视过度,staying up熬夜····,not drinking enough water 喝水少,eating late at night吃夜宵```

  今天我们就拿“熬夜”(staying up)来说一说:

Describe an article on health you read on magazine or the internet

  You should say:

  what it was

  where you read it

  why you read it

and how you felt about it

Speaking of an article on health I read on the internet, I’d like to share with you an essay about staying up熬夜 which I read by accident偶然 recently.

Actually, I came across无意中发现 it when I was browsing the social media app--microblog, which is the Chinese version of tweeter. To be honest, I’m a night owl夜猫子. Therefore, it caught my eyes吸引了我的眼球 all of a sudden突然.

As for my feelings about it, first, I felt shocked, since this article showed the data from an experiment, which indicated the harm to our eyes and skin caused by staying up. After I saw it, I felt so terrible. No wonder it’s so easy for me to get moody易怒的 lately. I’m afraid I might get these kinds of symptoms症状 in the future if I continue burning the midnight oil熬夜. In addition, it just inspired me to alter my biological clock改变生物钟 immediately. By which I mean, I should rise起床 and go to bed early from then on. For one thing, it could speed up/accelerate my metabolism加速新陈代谢 and strengthen my memory; for another, it enables me to look more refreshed精神振作的 and put me in a good mood带来好心情 the next day. The most important thing is that it is beneficial for me to get rid of the bad habit --procrastination拖拉 and the sedentary lifestyle久坐的生活方式.

In general, it is quite a rewarding有收获的 experience. Now I’m living a healthy lifestyle.
